The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Mahila (Nawada Sadar) P.S.Case No.35 of 2017 pending in the Court of SDJM, Nawada registered for an offence under Sections 376/511 of the IPC.

It is alleged that this petitioner is named in the FIR with specific allegation that he attempted to commit rape on the victim. As per written report, she was working at the place of this petitioner and on the date of occurrence, this petitioner threw her on a bed and attempted to commit rape. On the alarm of victim, the informant raised protest and anyhow she escaped from the place of occurrence and disclosed about the occurrence to her

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.59679 of 2017 (3) dt.01-02-2018 2/2 husband and family members. The antecedent of this petitioner is mentioned at para-3 of this application which shows that the petitioner is involved in five more cases.

Considering the serious nature of allegation as well as antecedent of this petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. (Sanjay Kumar, J) B.Kr./- U T
