The petitioner retired as Mechanic in the Department of Physics, Patna Science College, Patna, under Patna University with effect from 30.06.2008.
It is his grievance that till date cash equivalent to unutilized earned leave for 239 days has not been paid. It is also his claim that arrears of difference amount of salary for the period of January, 2006 to June, 2008 is also payable. The details of the claims have been mentioned in paragraph 1 of the writ application. Considering the fact that the petitioner retired in 2008 and till date he is unable to get his leave encashment and other dues as indicated in paragraph 1 of the writ application, I direct
Patna High Court CWJC No.18291 of 2015 (2) dt.10-05-2016 Respondent No.3, the Registrar of the University to ensure that entire admissible dues against various heads are paid to the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
The Respondent No.3 will be obliged to ensure that calculation in respect of such payments or denials to make such payments are furnished to the petitioner within the aforesaid period.
This disposes of the application.
