17-12-2015 Heard Sri Shankar Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Suresh Pd. Singh, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor.

The petitioner, who is in custody since 04-06-2015 in Majorganj P.S. Case No. 340 of 2014, G.R. No. 3616 of 2014 registered for the offence under Sections 385, 387 of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act, 1959, has prayed for grant of bail.

It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that only on the basis of confessional statement of one of the coaccused, the petitioner is languishing in jail since long. There is no other material for implicating the petitioner. In paragraph - 3 of the petition itself, criminal history

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55349 of 2015 (2) dt.17-12-2015 2/2 has been described, which suggests that the petitioner is accused in about seven cases of serious nature, including nature of the present case.

In view of the antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail.

The petition stands dismissed.
