2. The present petition has been preferred for the grant of following relief(s):

"(i) For commanding the respondents to make available to the petitioner the certified copy of the Old Khatiyan of Mauza-Baghant, Thana No. 212, Old Khata No. 251, Khesra No.

8296, 8311, 8316, 8204, 8252, 8292, 8226, 9294, 8295, 8312-13, 8314, 8315, 8353-54 old Khata No. 336, Khesra No. 8227, 8357, Old Khata No. 335, Khesra No. 8154, 8187, 8372, Old Khata

2/4 No. 22, Khesra No. 8284, Old Khata No. 1582, Khesra No. 7942-43, 7676, 7678, 7715, 7674, 7677, 7672, 7755, Old Khata No. 363, Khesra No. 8186, and Khata No. 16 Khesra No. 8281, 8356 District-Darbhanga for which the petitioner has several times tried to submit application in the District Record Room, Darbhanga in the prescribed manner but his application has not been accepted by the concerned employee of the District Record Room, Darbhanga.

(ii) For commanding the respondents to furnish information to the petitioner in regard to Old Khata No. 251, Khata No. 336, Khata No. 335, Khata No. 22, Khata No. 1582, Khata No.

363, Khata No. 1582 and Khata No. 16 Thana No. 212 of Mauza- Baghant, DistrictDarbhanga from the relevant records maintained in the District Record Room for which the petitioner has applied in the prescribed manner. (iii) For any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioner is found to be entitled in the

3/4 facts and circumstances of the present case."

3. The petitioner has to approach this Court with a simple prayer to get the petition preferred before the respondent no.2, the District Magistrate, Darbhanga, Bihar disposed of.

4. The case is that the petitioner wanted the certified copy of the 'khatiyans' and the details have already been recorded in his petition (Annexure-P/1). The State respondent simply have to take a report from the appropriate authority and provide the same of course subject to the fees that is required, instead they sat over the matter.

5. Earlier also, one Babu Saheb Jha had to approach this Court in CWJC No. 14277 of 2021 which was disposed of by a coordinate Bench of this Court on 18.08.2022 directing the District Magistrate, Darbhanga to immediately provide the certified copy or to appear in person (Annexure P/2).

6. It seems that the concerned authority has not taken note of these facts.

7. Learned State counsel submits that all the needful shall be done at an earliest.

8. In that background, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction that if the District Magistrate, Darbhanga has not taken decision, he has to do the same in next

4/4 six weeks.

9. Not only that, he/she will have to take note of each and every such application pending before him/her and shall be disposing it of in next three months.

10. It is made clear that failure to act and allowing each and every person to approach the High Court, a serious view shall be taken in the matter if any such similar case comes before this Court.

11. The writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid observation.
