1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this writ application is being filed by the petitioner for issuance of an appropriate writ/writs, order of orders, direction/directions upon the respondents authority, specially Respondent No.1 for granting Pension as a "Samman Rashi" which has been declared by the Govt.

Notification bearing S.N./Grih.Ko.74-0052/2009-524, issued by the Home (Special) Department and the Home department has announced payment of Samman Rashi to persons who were in custody or illegal confinement in Jay Prakash Narayan Movement in Bihar during the period

Patna High Court CWJC No.13120 of 2024(2) dt.09-09-2024 2/2 18.3.1974 to 21.03.1977."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Secretary, Home (Special) Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
