2. The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the order dated 21.08.2004 in Certificate Case No. 2/2004-05 for recovery of Rs. 1,28,420/- against the petitioner.

3. Without going into the merits of the matter, this Court takes note that there is inordinate delay and laches on the part of the petitioner in approaching this Court as late as on 26.08.2011 against the impugned order dated 21.08.2004 without so much as a hint of a reason being assigned for such delay.

4. In the above view of the matter, this Court is

5. The writ petition stands dismissed.
