JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 29-03-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "(i) For issuance of direction/s, writ/s, order/s for quashing memo no. 98 (प्र) dated 26.10.2021 whereby and whereunder the petitioner was dismissed from service by the respondent no.4 in purported exercise of power given under rule-14 of Bihar Government Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rule-2005.

(ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ/order/ direction to the respondents to reinstate the

Patna High Court CWJC No.20554 of 2021(2) dt.29-03-2024 2/2 petitioner as Chaukidar of Beat no.01/04, Chanpatiya after quashing order dated 26.10.2021 and give all consequential relief to him."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the order dated 26.10.2021, passed by the District Magistrate, West Champaran (Bettiah) by filing appropriate appeal. Liberty so sought is granted.

It is needless to state that in case appropriate appeal is filed within a period of two weeks from today, the appellate authority shall consider the same on merits and pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks, thereafter. 4.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
