1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that PDS license of the petitioner has been cancelled by the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Bikramganj, Rohtas in Case No. 05 of 2024 vide order dated 31.08.2024.

2. Aggrieved by the order of cancellation, the petitioner preferred statutory appeal under Rule 32 of the Bihar Targeted Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2016 before the District Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram on 30.09.2024 but even after lapse of more than one year, the appeal has not been registered, appeal no. has not been provided and no date of hearing has yet been fixed. As per the statutory provision, the

Patna High Court CWJC No.13919 of 2025(2) dt.16-12-2025 2/2 appeal has to be disposed within sixty days.

Considering the aforesaid submissions, this writ application is disposed with a direction to the District Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram to register the appeal immediately and dispose the same after giving opportunity of hearing to all concerned within a period of three months from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order.
