The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Fatuha P.S. Case No. 201 of 2022 instituted under Sections 394, 395, 412, 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that he is the driver of a Haewa Truck and about 10 PM on the fateful day, was going to Beldari Chak. As he stepped out to attend the nature's call, 2-3 accused persons came, threatened him with pistol and snatched his mobile as also Rs. 5,000/- and thereafter after tying his hands and legs, took away his truck. Anyhow, he reached the nearest petrol pump and made a call to the owner and police and subsequently lodged the FIR.

In the course of investigation, one Ranjit Kumar was

Taking into account the kind of allegation that has come against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant him privilege of anticipatory bail which is accordingly rejected. (Rajiv Roy, J) Ravi/Ajay Singh/- U T
