The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Laheriasarai P.S. Case no. 368 of 2016, registered under Sections 467, 468, 471 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in fact, petitioner is the registered contractor and his tender was rejected by the Minor Irrigation Department pointing out the superfluous defects. Thereafter, petitioner filed C.W.J.C. No. 18353 of 2014. In course of hearing of the writ petition, the Department stated about lodging the case against the petitioner regarding wrong production of one certificate then the Court asked to submit the copy of the F.I.R. Thereafter, on the basis of the written report of Executive Engineer, Minor Irrigation Department, Darbhanga Division, the present case has

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga in connection with Laheriasarai P.S. Case No. 368 of 2016, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
