JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 18-12-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the State. The petitioners apprehend arrest in Bidupur P.S. Case No. 201 of 2000 instituted for the offence under Sections-302, 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
This is a case of year, 2000. Two of the accused persons faced trial and final judgment was passed but this petitioner never appeared in the court below.
Therefore, this court does not think it a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail.
Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
The petitioner is directed to surrender in the court below and seek regular bail which will be considered and disposed of on its own merit without being prejudiced by this order. (Sanjay Priya, J) A.K.V./- U T
