2. The prayer for bail of the petitioner has earlier been rejected vide order dated 03.10.2024 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 72011 of 2024.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been in custody since 01.09.2023. He further submits that, apart from the present case, the petitioner is accused in only one other criminal case, in which he has already been granted bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court. It is further submitted that the petitioner is ready and willing to abide by all the conditions whatsoever may be imposed by this Court. The charge has already been framed in the present case and the trial is at the stage of recording of evidence.

4. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that in the present case the petitioner is accused of offences under Sections 304B and 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. It is further submitted that the antecedents of the petitioner are not clean, as he is also accused in an earlier case under the same provision. In other words, both wives of the petitioner have died and allegations under Section 304B of the Indian Penal Code have been levelled against him.
5. In the present facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.
6. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner in connection with S.T. No. 430/2025, Roshanganj P.S. Case No. 243 of 2023 pending before the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-1st, Sherghati, Gaya is hereby rejected.
7. However, the trial Court is directed to expedite the trial.
