The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Gopalpur (Rangra) P.S. Case No. 154 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)1, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act. The allegation is regarding the police party having raided the house of one Bibhash Yadav and from the said house, Bibhash Yadav and the petitioner were arrested and on search, one country made pistol and 12 round live cartridges and 9 misfired cartridges were seized.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is having a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 05.05.2018.
