The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Khusrupur P.S. Case No.148 of 2023, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Earlier the petitioners have been granted anticipatory bail by this Court vide order dated 03.08.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 38625 of 2023 with a direction to the learned Court below to verify the criminal antecedent of the petitioners before accepting their bail bond. As per the direction of this Court, the criminal antecedent of the petitioners was verified and it has

Considering the facts aforesaid as well as in view of the decision of the Supreme Court in the case of G.R. Ananda Babu vs. State of Tamil Nadu and Another reported in 2021 SCC Online SC 176, this second anticipatory bail application is not maintainable and it is accordingly, dismissed.
