2. In the instant petition, petitioners have prayed for the following relief/reliefs:

"i. For a direction on the respondents, particularly, respondent No. 6 District Programme Officer, (Establishment), Saran at Chapra to place the case of the petitioner no. 2 before the District Compassionate Appointment Committee, Saran, Chapra for its consideration and on receipt of its recommendation, respondent No. 4, Regional Deputy Director of Education, Saran Division,

Patna High Court CWJC No.20512 of 2021 dt.17-01-2022 2/2 Chapra be directed to issue consequential letter of appointment in favour of the petitioner no. 2 on Class-IV post forthwith.

ii. For any other relief/reliefs to which petitioners are found entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case."

The grievance of the petitioners is pending consideration for years together, therefore, the competent authority-The District Compassionate Appointment Committee is hereby directed to decide the petitioners' grievance within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioners, failing which, petitioners are entitled to litigation cost and it is quantified @ Rs 10,000/-.
