JUSTICE BIBEK CHAUDHURI ORAL ORDER 12-09-2024 The petitioner was directed to work as Dafadar of Circle No. 4 within Uphara Police Station w.e.f. 1st of January, 1990 by the order of the then SHO of Uphara Police Station. However, he was not granted any wages from the respondents for his work which he has discharged as Dafadar from the very beginning. The said respondents is under no obligation to make payment to a person who is not engaged in accordance with rules or procedure regarding appointment.

2. Therefore, I am not in a position to grant any relief in the instant writ petition to the petitioner.

3. However, petitioner is at liberty to make his

Patna High Court CWJC No.13566 of 2024(2) dt.12-09-2024 2/2 grievance before the appropriate Court of law against the then SHO under whose direction he performed his duty as Dafadar for payment of daily wages from his personal earning.

4. With the above order, the instant writ petition is disposed of.
