JUSTICE RAJIV ROY ORAL ORDER 23-05-2022 Heard Mr. Alok Kumar Alok, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the informant as well as Mr. Bharat Bhushan, the learned APP for the State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Nanpur P.S. Case No. 151 of 2021 for the offence under section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the specific allegation against the petitioner is that he used iron rod "khanti" to assault the informant's father which resulted into his immediate death. Considering the gravity of allegation that has been specifically levelled against the petitioner herein; this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to him and the bail application is hereby rejected.
