2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sursand P.S. Case No. 248 of 2025 for the offence registered under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Amendment Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, total 330 litres of Nepali liquor recovered from the Maruti Suzuki bearing Registration No. BR-1AH4688. The petitioner along with coaccused Sushil Rai were apprehended from the said car.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case on suspicion. He has no concern with the seized liquor or vehicle. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious

Petitioner had taken lift in the seized vehicle and had no knowledge about the seized liquor kept in the seized vehicle. Petitioner is in jail custody since 20.06.2025, having no criminal antecedent. The charge-sheet has already been submitted after completion of investigation and petitioner undertakes to cooperate in the trial of the case.
5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of learned counsel for the parties and period of custody, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Excise Court-2, Sitamarhi, in connection with Sursand P.S.
