On perusal of the First Information Report, I find that the allegations contained therein constitute punishable under various Sections of the Indian Penal Code and Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, which are cognizable in nature.

I do not find any reason to exercise extraordinary jurisdiction under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of the First Information Report.

This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
