Learned counsel are appearing and making submissions from their residence. The Court master and Secretary are also part of this virtual Court proceedings with the aid of audio visual technology.
Learned counsel for the State submits that on 03.01.2020, the necessary orders authorizing payments of Pension and Gratuity has been issued in favour of the petitioner. This is the
Patna High Court CWJC No.16973 of 2019(5) dt.11-09-2020 2/2 submission of the petitioner's counsel as per averments made in paragraph no-10 of the rejoinder. He, however, submits that actual payments have not been made till date. This Court, therefore, does not consider it appropriate to keep the matter pending. The same is disposed off with direction to the Authorities to ensure payments of the dues and admissible amounts in terms of the Authorization, expeditiously and preferably, within a period of eight (08) weeks, from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.
It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the certificate proceedings instituted against the petitioner as well as the criminal proceedings purported to be launched against the petitioner in terms of Annexure D and E to the counter affidavit. Authorities would be free to proceed in accordance with law.
The writ petition stands disposed off.
