2. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Alam Nagar P.S Case No. 163 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(b), 201, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per allegation in the FIR, petitioner along with others are said to have committed the murder of informant's daughter for non-fulfillment of demand dowry and disappeared the dead body.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He next

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.57683 of 2025(2) dt.27-08-2025 2/3 submits that petitioner is the maternal brother of the husband of the deceased. He further submits that there is no eye witness of the alleged occurrence. He further submits that petitioner's name has been figured from the confessional statement of the co-accused namely Prakash Mandal who has already been granted bail by the co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide Cr. Misc. No. 70318 of 2024. He further submits that petitioner is in judicial custody since 24.03.2025 having clean antecedent.

5. However, learned APP for the State oppose the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

On perusal of the FIR and impugned order dated 26.07.2025, it appears that petitioner's name has been figured from the confessional statement of the co-accused namely Prakash Mandal who has already been granted bail vide Cr. Misc. No. 70318 of 2024 dated 07.10.2024 and also considering the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner having nothing to do with the family affairs of the deceased and also considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions made on behalf of the learned counsel for the petitioner, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount
