The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 406, 420, 384, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Vide order dated 22.12.2022, this matter was referred to the Mediation Centre, Patna High Court, Patna but till date petitioner has not appeared before the Mediator. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to pay Rs. 11,67,000/- to the opposite party no.2. He has paid 2,00,000/- by cheque to the opposite party no. 2 in Court and undertakes to pay rest of the amount to the opposite party no. 2 in five installments.

No.58676 of 2022(5) dt.08-05-2023 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, be released on provisional bail for six months, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned lower Court where the case is pending/successor Court in connection with Mohammadpur P.S. Case No. 03 of 2022, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C. Learned Court below is directed to confirm the bail bond of the petitioner after payment of all the amount as aforesaid to the opposite party no. 2.
