This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Sherghati Excise P.S. Case No.61 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a) and 56(b) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

About 300 litres of country made liquor has been recovered from two motorcycles. The petitioners are in custody since 04.08.2023.

Considering the quantum of liquor recovered from the motorcycles as well as the period of custody of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.64316 of 2023(2) dt.11-10-2023 2/2 petitioners, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Excise Court No.3, Gaya in connection with Shergahti Excise P.S.
