2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Kartaha P.S. Case No. 54 of 2021 dated 09.09.2021, lodged under Sections 302, 34 of the I.P.C. read with Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner has earlier been rejected vide order dated 28.11.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 37560 of 2022 in which direction was made to the trial court to expedite the trial as earliest as possible preferably within 9 months.

4. Upon filing of the bail petition, report has been called for. From the report, it transpires that trial is expected to be concluded within 3 months.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

6. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected, but directs that if within six months, trial shall not be concluded, petitioner shall be at liberty to file fresh bail application.
