2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the marriage of Bibi Nasrin was solemnized with the petitioner on 28.06.2022. It is further alleged that she was subjected to cruelty on account of non-fulfillment of dowry demand and ultimately she was killed.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that In this case the trial is in progress. In trial, the informant has

In cross-examination he has stated that he does not know as to what was written in the FIR. As the informant himself has denied the factum of the FIR. The petitioner is a man of clean antecedent. The petitioner is in custody since 13.02.2024.

5. Learned APP appearing for the state has opposed the prayer of regular bail.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Ishakchak P.S. Case No. 23 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned court of Additional District and Sessions Judge-XVII, Bhagalpur.
