Vide detailed order dated 06.01.2021, passed in Cr. Misc. No.30227 of 2020, the prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that charge has been framed on 22.02.2021, but till date no witness has been examined. It is further submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 12.10.2019.

Having gone through the records of the case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is again rejected in connection with Sessions Trial No.71 of 2020, arising out of Raniganj P.S. Case No.344 of 2019, pending in the court of learned 2nd Additional District & Sessions Judge, Araria.

If the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period, the petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
