JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 22-08-2019 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the land of the petitioner was acquired in the year 1974 on the requisition of the Bihar State Housing Board but no amount of compensation was paid to the petitioner. The petitioner filed petition before the Secretary, Bihar State Housing Board and the Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department. The Bihar State Housing Board as well as the Urban Development and Housing Department informed the petitioner that the Bihar State Housing Board has already paid the entire amount of compensation to the Land Acquisition

Patna High Court CWJC No.17234 of 2019(2) dt.22-08-2019 2/2 Officer, Patna and it was the Land Acquisition Officer, Patna who is to pay the amount of compensation to the petitioner, if the petitioner has not received any compensation for acquisition of his land. It is submitted that the petitioner filed petition before the Land Acquisition Officer, Patna on 09.07.2019. In view of the facts aforesaid and considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the Land Acquisition Officer, Patna to dispose of the petition of the petitioner (Annexure-4) within three months from the date of receipt of this order.
