2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Singhaul P.S. Case No. 47 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8/20(b)11(B) of the NDPS Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, the recovery is of 1.7 Kg of ganja from the possession of the petitioner.
4. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case merely on suspicion. The petitioner is in jail since 09.05.2024 having clean antecedent.
5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61703 of 2024(3) dt.20-11-2024 2/2 of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge, Begusarai/concerned Court in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 22 of 2024 arising out of Singhaul P.S. Case No. 47 of 2024.
7. The petitioner will also mark attendance in Bachhwara Police Station, Begusarai on every Sunday of the month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would be result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) P. Kumar U T
