2. Lastly, the prayer for bail of petitioner was rejected, vide order dated 28.06.2024 passed in Cr.Misc. No.26978 of 2024 with direction to the learned trial court to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within one year.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that till date, trial has not been concluded. Petitioner is in custody since 04.07.2020.

4. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the bail petition.

5. Considering the period of custody and tardy progress of trial, let the above named petitioner be released on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.59993 of 2025(2) dt.17-10-2025 2/2 bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge - XVII, Patna in connection with S.T. No. 20 of 2022, arising out of Jakkanpur P.S. Case No. 316 of 2020.
