Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 363 of the Indian Penal Code later on Section 364A of I.P.C. has been added. The statement of the victim boy recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. would reveal that co-accused-Pandav and Pramod had induced him to go to the places of their choice and ransom was demanded from father of the victim at the time of wrongful confinement of the victim.

Since petitioner is not named in the statement of the victim and petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty

No.59009 of 2019(2) dt.27-09-2019 2/2 Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Bhaptiyahi Police Station Case No.56 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
