Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 272, 273/34 of the IPC and section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018. Prosecution case is that 972 litres of illicit liquor was recovered near the boundary wall of co-accused Visakha Jha.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioners and they are no way

Considering the facts of the case, in the event of arrest/surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge Excise Act, Jhanjharpur, District- Madhubani in connection with Lakhnour (RSOP) P.S. Case No. 163 of 2022, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
