1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.i. For quashing of the order dated 29.11.2021 passed by the District Programme Officer, ICDS, Vaishali at Hajipur in Case No.80/2018 (selection) contained in Memo no. 1635 dated 29.11.2021 where under and whereby selection of petitioner as Anganbari Sahayika at centre no. 199 situated in ward no.17 of Rustampur Gram Panchayat of Raghopur block of Vaishali has been cancelled and direction has been given to grant selection letter to

ii. For quashing of consequential order contained in Memo no.653 dated 21.12.2021 passed by the CDPO, Raghopur (Vaishali) whereunder and whereby the selection of the petitioner as Sahayika has been cancelled pursuant to order passed in case no.80/2018 dated 29.11.2021.

iii. Further for a direction upon the respondents to reinstate the petitioner on the post of Angabari Sevika at Centre no.199 situated in ward no.17 of Rustampur Gram Panchayat of Raghopur block of Vaishali along with entire consequential monetary and service benefits."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner has limited the prayer made in the present writ petition to issuance of a direction to the District Magistrate, Vaishali, to dispose off the appeal filed by the petitioner, bearing Appeal No.13 of 2021.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case the aforesaid appeal filed by the petitioner has not yet been disposed off, the same would definitely be disposed off, within a stipulated time frame, as directed by this Court.

4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistrate,

Patna High Court CWJC No.14838 of 2022(2) dt.27-02-2024 3/3 Vaishali, to dispose off the aforesaid appeal, filed by the petitioner, in case the same has not yet been disposed off, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
