JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 03-08-2015 The petitioner bears Consumer No. 128DP/DS/4D dated 11.10.1989.

It appears that the respondent no.5 instituted F.I.R. against the petitioner and nine others under Section 135 of the Bihar Electricity Act, 2003 bearing Sathi P.S. Case no. 87 of 2011 dated 08.09.2011 and imposed a fine of Rs.20,000/- to the petitioner and the Electric connection was also disconnected. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has already deposited the fine, though his electric connection has not been restored.

In my view, once the petitioner has paid the fine

Patna High Court CWJC No.21118 of 2011 (2) dt.03-08-2015 2 / 2 amount, the respondents ought to have restored the electric connection, which would be subject to the result of the criminal case.

This writ application stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents to restore electric connection of the petitioner.
