The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Chandi P. S. Case No. 242 of 2017 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 379, 307 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code. Later on, Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code was added. Regard being had to the direct and specific allegation made against the petitioner that she brutally assaulted her father-in-law with sharp cutting weapon as a result of which he succumbed, I am not inclined to grant her pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
