JUSTICE BIBEK CHAUDHURI ORAL ORDER 17-04-2025 A joint petition for settlement of the dispute between the parties has been filed jointly by both the parties. By filing such a joint application for settlement, the learned counsels for both the parties submit that the instant criminal revision may be dropped in terms of the said settlement.

2. The parties have agreed to withdraw the remaining other cases pending in different courts in respect of the matrimonial suit for divorce. The parties have agreed to file a joint petition for dissolution of marriage under Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act. It is also agreed that on the very next

No.607 of 2023(6) dt.17-04-2025 2/2 date of passing of the decree for divorce on mutual consent, the petitioner shall execute and register a deed of gift, the draft of which has already been handed over to the learned counsel for the opposite party in favour of the opposite party.

3. The terms of settlement being lawful is accepted. The instant criminal revision is dropped on the basis of the joint petition for settlement/compromise. Let the petition be made part of this order.

4. Let the original copy of the draft gift deed, which is lying with the record, be handed over to the learned Advocate for the petitioner.

5. Further, in view of the disposal of this case of settlement, operation of the interim order, if any, shall come to an end.
