JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 27-11-2019 Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Mansi P.S. Case No. 198 of 2015, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 302 of IPC and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

As per F.I.R. petitioner is said to have fired on the head of the deceased, due to which, he succumbed to his injuries.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that there are allegation against altogether five accused persons. Apart from that petitioner is accused in three other cases. Further submission is that some of the accused persons have been granted bail by this Court and he is in custody since 24.12.2018.

Heard learned A.P.P. also, who has opposed the prayer for bail on the ground that there is specific allegation against the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.59408 of 2019(3) dt.27-11-2019 2/2 petitioner of firing on the head of the deceased, causing death. Having heard both sides, in view of the allegation, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. However, since he is in custody since about one year, the trial be expedited. With the above observations, this application is dismissed.
