The petitioner by invoking the extraordinary writ jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, has preferred the present writ petition seeking a direction upon the concerned respondent to make necessary correction in the Government Revenue Record in connection with Khata no. 251, Plot/Khesra no. 4211, Mauza-Bhui, Circle Rajgir in Jamabandi no. 84, wherein due to inadvertence, Rakba 4.1/4 has been mentioned in place of Rakba 34.1/4 decimal.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that for necessary correction, the petitioner has filed an application

Patna High Court CWJC No.13329 of 2024(2) dt.05-09-2024 2/2 before the concerned Circle Officer, however, having found no jurisdiction the petitioner has been given liberty to approach before the Additional Collector, Nalanda, Bihar Sharif for making necessary correction.

4. In view of the limited grievance of the petitioner, the present writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to approach before the Additional Collector, Nalanda, Bihar Sharif, within a period of two weeks from today for necessary correction in Jamabandi no. 84.

5. If such an application is filed, the Additional Collector, Nalanda, Biharsharif, shall look into the matter and after making proper verification of the record, dispose of the same, preferably within a period of eight weeks thereafter.

6. Writ petition stands disposed.
