2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Motipur P.S. Case No. 447 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 118(1), 109, 103(1) of B.N.S.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is brother of the deceased. The deceased was killed at her paternal house. During investigation, the petitioner was arrested and he has confessed his guilt.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. The petitioner is in custody since 30.03.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is hereby rejected.

8. The petitioner may renew his prayer for bail, if the trial is delayed by the prosecution.
