The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Tajpur P.S. Case No. 06 of 2017, instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 448, 341, 323, 324, 302, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

This is the second attempt of the petitioner for bail. The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail which was earlier rejected on merit by this Court vide order dated 12.07.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 48012 of 2024. 4.

In compliance of the order dated 19.08.2025, a report dated 23.08.2025 with regard to the present stage of trial has been received. From perusal of the aforesaid report, it appears that Charge has been framed against the petitioner on 28.05.2024. During the trial, summon has been issued on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58349 of 2025(3) dt.18-09-2025 2/2 14.06.2024 and bailable warrant has been issued on 24.07.2025 against all charge-sheeted witnesses. It is further reported that out of eight charge-sheeted witnesses, one witness has been examined in this case.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 22.02.2024 without any rhymes or reason and has got no criminal antecedent.

Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner. 7.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, taking into account the period of custody undergone by the petitioner and since the trial has no significant progress, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 8.

Let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court below/concerned Court in connection with Tajpur P.S. Case No. 06 of 2017.
