The petitioners seek anticipatory bail in connection with Srinagar Pujaha PS case no. 108 of 2017 dated 21.7.2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 307, 379, 354, 354(c), 447, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation is regarding the accused persons assaulting the informant and her husband resulting in various injuries. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the allegation of assault against the petitioners is general and omnibus in nature, but nonetheless he submits that all the injuries sustained

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2464 of 2018 (2) dt.16-02-2018 2/2 by the prosecution side are simple in nature. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender before the concerned court within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the present order, the petitioners above named are directed to be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Srinagar Pujaha PS case no. 108 of 2017, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of Code of Criminal Procedure.
