JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 22-02-2019 It is reported that the Zonal Manager, East Central Zone, Life Insurance Corporation of India (hereinafter referred to as 'the Corporation') is in seisin of the appeal preferred petitioner as back as on 10.11.2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the appeal is pending for quite a long time and there is unreasonable delay in disposal thereof. Learned counsel representing the Corporation submits that in the facts and circumstance of the case, he would advise the Zonal Manager of the Corporation to dispose of the appeal within a reasonable time.

The Zonal Manager, East Central Zone, Life Insurance Corporation of India is directed to consider the memorandum of appeal preferred by the petitioner and dispose it of within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
