Petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Masaurhi PS Case No. 224 / 2021 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304 (B) / 34 of the Indian Penal Code 1860.

Petitioner no. 1 is the father-in-law of the deceased and petitioner no. 2 is the mother- in -law.

The allegation is that the marriage of the informant's daughter was solemnized with petitioners' son in the year 2018 and after some time of the marriage the accused persons started

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70051 of 2021(2) dt.24-05-2022 2/3 demanding dowry and due to non fulfillment of the demand, they killed the informant's daughter by strangulating her. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the allegation against the petitioners are general and omnibus in nature and the petitioners are the parents- in- law of the deceased. Petitioners are old persons and they are in custody since 08/05/2021, charge sheet has already been submitted and there is no likelihood that petitioners will abscond or tamper with the evidence if released on bail.

Regard being had to the submissions made by the parties, taking into consideration the material available on record, the fact that petitioners are in custody since 08.05.2021 , charge sheet has already been submitted and allegation against them is general and omnibus in nature, as such, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioners.

Let the petitioners, above named, be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20000/- (twenty thousand ) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. Masaurhi at Patna in connection with Masaurhi PS Case No. 224 / 2021 on the following condition:- (a) that the petitioners shall remain present on each and every date during the course of trial and in case of
