In the present writ application, the following relief has been sought for on behalf of the petitioner : 1(i) For a direction to the respondent No.2 to expeditiously conclude and pass a final order in Arms Appeal No.184/2017, since the revocation of the arms licences of the petitioner by the respondent No.3 on whimsical, untenable and presumptive grounds has led to serious threat to the life of the petitioner and his family members.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the arms licence of the petitioner was cancelled on flimsy ground by the District Magistrate, Aurangabad vide Annexure 4

Patna High Court CWJC No.1855 of 2019(2) dt.01-02-2019 2/2 to the present application. Against the said order, the petitioner had preferred an appeal before the Respondent No.2 i.e. The Commissioner, Magadh Division, Gaya. Said appeal is pending till date.

The Respondent No.2 i.e. The Commissioner, Magadh Division, Gaya is directed to consider the case/appeal of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
