Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case under sections 147,148,149,323,324, 307 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code in which charge sheet was submitted for offence under sections 323 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation is that the petitioner no.1 snatched a golden chain from the informant, whereas petitioner no.2 took out Rs.18,000/- from the informant's pocket The petitioners submit that the allegation of theft has not been substantiated in the investigation and prior to this case, petitioner no.1 filed a case against the prosecution side.
