The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 615 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 144 litres of illicit Nepali liquor from the motorcycle of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is submitted that the petitioner has a clean antecedent. Lastly, it is submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 25.10.2018.

Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 7th Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Excise, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 615 of 2018.
