The petitioner is in custody in a case registered for offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. This is a case for grant of regular bail in a case of robbery in which gold and silver jewellery amounting to rupees fifteen lakh and cash worth Rs.40-50 thousands have been looted on the point of pistol from the shop of the informant. It is also alleged that the robbers also snatched the jewellery from the customers.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.65194 of 2022(3) dt.27-02-2023 2/2 accused the petitioner's name came into light and vide Annexure 2 series the similarly situated other co-accused persons are getting the privilege of regular bail. The petitioner is in custody since 23.06.2021.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the aforesaid submissions, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Patrakar Nagar P.S. Case No. 393 of 2020 to the satisfaction of the Additional District Judge, XI, Patna.
