The petitioner has invoked the prerogative writ jurisdiction of this Court, seeking quashing of the cancellation of selection of respondent no.8, who has been appointed against the post of Anganbari Sevika, in relation to Ward No. 6, Gram Panchayat Lalu ka Dera, P.S.- Sahpur, District Bhojpur at Ara.

3. While assailing the selection of respondent no.8, it has been contended that the impugned selection is in complete

Patna High Court CWJC No.2628 of 2019(4) dt.24-02-2025 2/2 transgression of the prescription of Guidelines 2016 for Anganwari Sevika/Sahayika recruitment (hereinafter referred to as 'the Guidelines, 2016'), especially Rule 4.12(VI).

4. Learned Advocate for the State made preliminary objection that the petitioner has not availed the remedy before the appropriate authority, as provided under Guidelines 2016.

5. This Court finds substance in the submission advanced by the learned Advocate for the State, hence the present writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail the remedy, as provided under the Guidelines 2016.
