The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Yogapatti P.S. Case No. 192 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 312, 498A, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code (for brevity 'IPC') and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Instead of going for mediation, it is jointly submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned counsel for the informant that pending finalization of any amount of maintenance by any Court in a judicial proceeding, for the limited purpose of availing the benefit of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62488 of 2023(2) dt.16-10-2023 2/3 anticipatory bail, the petitioner would be paying Rs. 7,000/- (seven thousand) per month.

To facilitate such payment, it is submitted by learned counsel for the informant that she would be informing the Account Number of the informant within a week, so that amount can be credited in the informant's account in the first week of every month of the Gregorian calendar. 5.

Let affidavit be filed by the petitioner incorporating such undertaking in the Trial Court.

Having regard to the above noted submissions, this Court is inclined to allow petitioner's prayer for grant of anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran, in connection with Yogapatti P.S. Case No. 192 of 2023, subject to the following conditions:

(i) That one of the bailors of each of the petitioner will be a close relative of the petitioner who will give an affidavit giving genealogy as to

(ii) That the petitioner will be well represented on each date and if he fails to do so on two consecutive dates, his bail bonds will be liable to be cancelled.
