2. Petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case instituted under Sections 30(c) and 47 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. There is a recovery of 285.06 litres of Indian made foreign liquor from a car. Apprehended accused, namely, Ritik Kumar disclosed the names of petitioner and other accused who fled away from the spot.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case on the basis of disclosure statement made by apprehended

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60691 of 2025(2) dt.23-09-2025 2/2 accused. Petitioners are neither owner of the vehicle in question nor they were present on the spot at the time of occurrence. Petitioners have no concern either with the seized illicit liquor or the said vehicle. Petitioners have no criminal antecedent and they undertake to cooperate in the investigation and the trial.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioners be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court concerned in connection with Amnour P.S. Case No.429 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down in Section 482 (2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
