Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Mr. Shailendra Kumar, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.
The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Shahpur P.S. Case No. 119 of 2019 registered for offence punishable under sections 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.
When the petitioner was selected in the merit list of Army selection process, on verification, it was intimated that he

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is a resident of Gopalganj and he has studied in Gopalganj and also in Kushinagar, neighbouring district of Gopalganj, situated in Uttar Pradesh. He has drawn my attention towards Annexure-3, which is character certificate issued by the Superintendent of Police, Gopalganj, which shows that this certificate was issued on the report of S.H.O. Kuchaikote, who reported that he went to the address of the petitioner and after verifying, he submitted his report to the concerned Police Superintendent. The learned counsel for the petitioner has also drawn my attention towards the certificate given by Geeta Devi, Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat Raj Dhodhwaliya, BlockKuchaikote, District-Gopalganj. She has issued the character certificate of the present petitioner. The document annexed by the petitioner shows prima facie that he is a resident of Gopalganj, Bihar.
Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, the petitioner above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender, within four weeks from today, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.69921 of 2021(2) dt.27-07-2022 3/3 two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-I, Danapur, Patna in connection with Shahpur P.S. Case No. 119 of 2019, subject to condition as laid down under section 438(2) Cr. P.C. Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time mentioned hereinabove, failing which, the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
